• IRS Form 990 e-file XML releases: the returns themselves, including officers, directors, trustees, key employees and their compensation.
• IRS Exempt Organizations Business Master File: organization names, EINs, locations and status.
• ProPublica Nonprofit Explorer API, where used, to cross-check organizations and link to filings.

Coverage

• E-filed returns only. Organizations that filed on paper are absent.
• Small organizations that file the 990-N postcard report no people, so they have no people data here.
• Coverage starts with the earliest year the IRS publishes as e-file XML.
