Why
People say they run nonprofits, sit on boards, draw no salary. Checking takes an hour of digging through IRS filings. Most people don't bother.
This site does the digging. Type a name and see every Form 990 that person appears on, with the filing linked so you can read it yourself.
What it is not
- Not affiliated with the IRS or ProPublica.
- Not legal, financial or tax advice.
- Not more accurate than the filings. The data is only as good as what organizations reported to the IRS.
